FAP Turbo 49 and New USDCHF Results?

FAP Turbo 49 was just released the other day and with it the exciting news of support for the USDCHF as a new scalping pair. A new pair is always welcome in my books and we’re looking forward to seeing what FAP Turbo can do with the USDCHF.

Results so far from the FAP Turbo team have been outstanding and I suspect our own testing, which is underway as I write, will show similarly outstanding results.

One thing to note is that there is no immediate requirement to upgrade to the new FAP Turbo 49 if you do not want to or are not ready to. The current version, FAP Turbo 48, is licensed until January 2010.

Lastly, the latest email from FAP Turbo had a couple suggestions for brokers … however we still feel strongly that the custom price feed we’ve negotiated with GallentFX is the best way to go.

In fact we’ve just negotiated a second custom price feed option that will provide a commission based price feed option with even lower spreads. This new feed will be online by next week.

Our custom price feed has always been a “members only” feed. For the first time, and we’re not sure for how long, we’ve decided to open registration to the feed to non-members.

Read more about the Broker Custom Price Feed.

As the new commission based option comes online in the next few days we’ll be updating you further on this so keep an eye on this blog for details. Our membership volume for our custom feeds allows us to negotiate very strongly and the new feed option will be very competitive (probably much better) than anything else out there right now.

Hi Rob. Thanks for the update. I have noticed that the new FapTurbo 49 has changed their settings. It appears that they have moved their settings even FURTHER from your recommended settings? I was expecting them to perhaps be closer. For instance the EURCHF has increased its tp to 6, and lowered their SL to a huge 70. This is what concerns me. Do you know if the internal (stealth) SLs are proportionally increased as well? This seems quite dangerous for if an SL is hit, you would feel it almost double than in v48, unless the stealth SLs are much different. Do you know about this? What are your thoughts on this? Or reasoning behind why FapT woud do something like this? FapTurbo must have found that that pair could trade in a certain range and recover if dipping to far. But if it doesnt… then that is a huge hit. I just found it strange that they would have their new settings further away from yours, not closer.

Rob,
I have one question concerning something ELSE, but I can’t seem to submit any comments? (on your long term strategy), I’m running EUR/USD but I have just one problem, I’m running max orders=2, but the thing is it seem like the distance between the buy and sell orders when they running together seem to widen all the time? Eventually one of them running into stop loss, this occurs rather often, is there something I’m doing wrong or is this a common thing, please help.
Right now I am only running LT EUR/USD and am having this problem, it seems that if i run a stop loss say once a month or so where do I get any profits?

Hi Rob, I’d like to give 2 comments:

1) Can you talk to Gallant FX to see if they can provide credit card fund in/fund out option. We, customer from Asia can only select brokers with credit card fund-in. With initial deposit as low as $500, bank wire charges will eat 7-10% of our capital which is simply unacceptable.

2) Forex is global so is your customer but most of your seminar was on 14:00PST. While this is ideal for you American’s, we customer from Asia suffered to listen live. Can you sometime run webinar in other time. Also can you broadcast webinar time in both PST and GMT. I didn’t ask you to state HK/China time but I guess its fair to use GMT, its global reference.

Hi Rob,

FapTurbo v49 have new setting with EURCHF & USDCAD pair which its TP & SL value is higher than your expert guide SL & TP publish few months ago.

So what is your opinion about that setting?

For new USDCHF pair will you optimize the setting?

Hi, when upgrading to version 49, do we adjust the pairs as per the version 48 instructions and leave the new USD-CHF settings as they come from Fap-Turbo?
Thanks, Pete
