FAP Turbo 47 Released!
FAP Turbo 47 was just released today and it rocks! Version 47 has been a long awaited release for many reasons and does a number of things for FAP Turbo traders are going to appreciate.
The major changes are listed here
- It finally combines FAP Turbo 37 (standard) and FAP Turbo 45 (pro) versions into one version. Now you don’t have the hassle of having to switch from FAP Turbo v37 standard to FA Turbo v45 pro because FAP Turbo v47 has them all wrapped up into one. The installation is pretty much the same as it was for the standard version
- The Auto GMT feature will now automatically set your proper GMT Offset. This has, for some reason, been a major pain in the butt for some people, especially when daylight savings time hit around the globe. I think they got this idea from the Megrdroid people
- They also changed the default stop loss for EURGBP to 35 instead of the dreaded 112 they had it set to as defaul in the FAP Turbo 37 standard. I have no idea what they were thinking before with 112 anyway!
If you’re a member of the FAP Turbo Expert Guide you would have already known that a EURGBP stop loss of 35 was optimal. I’m not sure what took the FAP Turbo guys so long to begin recommending this. I wonder if they’ve been reading my guide
Actually, what I suspect is that they realized most people had the FAP Turbo v37 standard and were unable to adjust the default stop loss value and rather than telling everyone to switch to the FAP Turbo v45 to fix the problem they decided to wait until they had the newest FAP Turbo 47 available. This way everyone will upgrade anyway and there won’t be the hassle anymore of choosing between the standard version and the pro version which allows you to set the stop loss.
Anyway, good job guys on the new FAP Turbo 47!
The FAP Turbo Expert Guide will be going through a minor overhaul in the next several days to reflect the changes made available by FAP Turbo v47.

I am pretty sure that they did copy your recommendation for a stop loss of 35. I am glad you are on top of things Rob. Have you tested any changes to stop loss with EURCHF?
Either they copied it or they did their own testing and simply came to the same conclusion.
For EURCHF I’m leaning towards 45.
cheers,
Rob
How does this change affect any of your settings?
There are a few settings changes mostly because now we don’t need to set GMT manually and we can more easily use the stop loss without having to switch to v45.
I’ve updated the Scalper Strategy Settings section to reflect changes to my recommended settings for the various strategy risk levels I outline there.
A few of the new settings for setting the minute of the sessions are still being tested, I can’t recommend changes until I’ve tested them.
cheers,
Rob
I’m looking forward to the addition of the FAQ section. I think it will be extremely beneficial to your members.
I have already learned so much from your guide–exactly what I have been needing!!
Thanks Rich! I’m glad you’re getting a lot from the guide.
There’s actually going to be 3 separate FAQs for different sections of the site and FAP Turbo. I’ve actually got them set up now and am just in the process of filling in questions and answers from my massive pile of email questions I’ve responded to. It should be live today sometime.
cheers,
Rob
Hi Rob
GREAT job. You’re the best. You knew it before with the stopp loss of 35 with EURGBP. By default my stopp loss is 36 and not 35. Just noticed that. Did you as well?
I recommend your Expert Guide on twitter: http://www.twitter.com/forexjakob
THANK YOU FOR ALL.
Have a nice weekend.
Best regards,
Jakob
Hi Jakob,
Thanks a bunch man! No, you’re the best!
When I was recommending a stop loss of EURGBP i had no idea they would eventually come out with a recommendation of 36. I don;t know anything about what they’re doing any sooner than anyone else.
Although if they had asked me weeks ago I would have gladly told them to make the change, LOL.
Thanks for the twitter and recommendation!
cheers,
Rob
@Rob Casey -
I think they just copied it..
Have you tested any changes to stop loss with USDCAD?
Hi Ryan,
I haven’t tested stop loss with USDCAD in a number of months now. I hadn’t found USDCAD to be very profitable in the past, but I’m thinking I’ll start testing it again. market conditions do change after all and things need to be re-evaluated on a regular basis.
I’ll let you know what I find.
cheers,
Rob
Can anyone teach me how to upload the result in MT4 tomt4stats.com Thanks a lot
Billy Shiu
Billy,
I’m not sure what there is to teach. When you login to mt4stats you are immediately shown a image of a window from your metatrader platform. below the image are descriptions of the settings.
Just fill it in with your information.
The uploading to mt4stats is done entirely by your metatrader application so all you need to do is tell metatrader the information for the account you created at mt4stats as shown in the image after you login.
Just open the options window in metatrader and go to the publisher tab and fill in the info and you’re done.
